What We're Looking For:

Certificate III or IV in Non-Emergency Patient Transport (preferred).
Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence (Class C) and a safe driving record.

Current First Aid qualification (HLTAID0003 - Provide First Aid).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Patience, empathy, and a customer-service focus.

Responsibilities:

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
