About the Role:
Ron Finemore Transport is seeking both full-time and casual, experienced HC Drivers. Applicants must travel from our Wagga Wagga depot to our Barnawartha depot to commence their week and vice versa to conclude their week. A travel allowance is provided.
A typical run starts from Barnawartha and covers the Riverina region, Sydney, and regional country routes. For the right candidate, this role could lead to a potential license upgrade and drive MC out of Wagga Wagga directly.
Applicants must be available for overnight and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with customers professionally and courteously.
- Adhere to load restraint guidelines as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Drive in a time-sensitive environment.
- Refuel and maintain the cleanliness of allocated equipment.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues, or delays.
Skills and Experience:
- License: Minimum HC license (experience essential).
- Driving Record: Minimum of 12 months of good driving record.
- Checks: Successful applicants must undergo a pre-employment medical check, and a national crime check, and have the right to work in Australia.
