Job Description

Shipley Transport Services is hiring Class 1 Tramper Drivers to operate our modern fleet, including Volvo and DAF trucks. We take pride in maintaining high-quality vehicles equipped with the latest technology and telematics.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Drive and maintain an HGV Class 1 vehicle with professionalism.

✅ Deliver and collect goods while maintaining excellent customer service.

✅ Ensure all loads are properly strapped and secured.

✅ Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times.

✅ Work flexibly, including weekends when required.

✅ Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate strong communication skills.

✅ Work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

✔️ Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence.

✔️ CPC Card & Digital Tachograph Card.

✔️ Good knowledge of the general haulage industry.

✔️ Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards.

Salary & Benefits

💰 Pay Rates:

Class 1 (Days):

• First 50 hours (Mon – Fri): £12.25 per hour
• Over 50 hours (Mon – Fri): £14.25 per hour
• Saturday / Early AM starts (before 4 AM): £15.25 per hour
• Sunday / Bank Holidays: £16.25 per hour

Class 1 (Nights):

• All hours flat rate: £15.25 per hour
