Responsibilities Include:

• Addressing customer complaints or concerns
• Coaching colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Mountain driving expertise

• Driving as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Loading and unloading goods
• Obtaining special permits and other documents required for international cargo transport

• Overseeing vehicle condition and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and equipment
• Handling payments for goods
• Performing brake adjustments
• Conducting emergency roadside repairs
• Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Relaying information to central dispatch
• Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring cargo safety and security
